I am a clinical psychologist with over three decades of clinical experience both in NYC and settings abroad. In my full time psychotherapy practice I work with adults and adolescents, using a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approach. I strive to create a collaborative and interactive space in which the struggles and conflicts you bring can be thoroughly expressed, explored, understood and worked through towards a more autonomous way of being. Close attention to the lasting impact of race, class, gender, culture, family dynamics, and trauma on development and identity is a characteristic of my approach. My specialty areas include difficulties associated with conflicts in identity and relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders.
