I am a South Asian, female (she/her) clinical psychologist with experience across hospital settings, community mental health, and college counseling. My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from acceptance‑ and mindfulness‑based therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic perspectives. I tailor these approaches to meet each person where they are, working in alignment with their lived experiences and therapeutic goals.
I strive to create a trauma‑informed, empathic, collaborative, and non‑judgemental space where clients feel supported and understood. Within this environment, I work gently and thoughtfully to help identify and challenge unhelpful patterns, fostering resilience, insight, change, and overall wellness. I believe that no person exists in isolation; balancing individualism with the meaningful aspects of collectivism and community is an essential part of the therapeutic space I cultivate.
My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ concerns, and interpersonal difficulties. I am deeply committed to addressing the intersectionality of identities, multicultural concerns, immigrant experiences, and acculturative stress—areas that are central to my work and values as a clinician.
Currently, I accept Aetna, otherwise, private pay fee. Couples Therapy and EMDR are not covered by insurance in my practice at this time.
