Many people can find it challenging to reach out for mental health support. I recognize this difficulty, and the barriers within our cultural community. I am a licensed doctor of psychology (Psy.D.) and have trained as a generalist, meaning I am able to work with a variety of mental health difficulties. My specialty is working with ethnic minorities, intersectionality, relationship difficulties, and those who have experienced trauma. I can offer therapy that is comprehensive and multiculturally compentent. I also specialize in working with individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) as well as families who are trying to understand their child’s identity. I also have a full-time position at the University of Southern California.
