My clinical approach is trauma-focused, culturally inclusive, and informed by my experiences as a 1.5-generation Indian American woman. Since earning my MA in counseling psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, I have worked primarily in community mental health settings including schools, an adult PHP/IOP, and a county Behavioral Health Court, where I supported clients coping with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, complex trauma and PTSD, justice system involvement, family conflict, alcohol and substance abuse, school and work stress, and serious mental illness. I utilize CBT, DBT, IFS, person-centered, feminist, mindfulness, narrative, experiential, and psychodynamic therapies with compassion and cultural sensitivity. In therapy session, I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. I provide virtual therapy to adults and adolescents 12+ throughout the state of California.
