Most of us are at the intersection of different identities- at times straddling different cultural identities, familial roles, job titles, etc – it can be difficult to block out the noise and live in a way that feels true to who we actually are. I tend to approach my work with three general assumptions: (1) People are generally doing their best with the tools that they have, (2) Recognizing patterns in our behavior help us understand the roots and how to make sustainable change, (3) People can and will change when they understand their own behavior, are seen, heard, and empowered. Working off these assumptions, I hope to help you live your life authentically and reach your ultimate goals.
Mental health challenges can show up differently for all of us. For some, this can appear as increasing anxiety, mood changes, irritability, perceptual disturbances, or just general feelings of exhaustion, burnout, and guilt. People are multi-faceted and nuanced; treatment should be as well
