The SAMHIN team of mental health clinicians will conduct free mental health screenings. Psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers will be available to answer your questions about mental health, alcohol and drug use and provide any advice and referrals needed. Free educational handouts will be made available. You will have a chance to speak with a clinician confidentially and without being judged. Information and Narcan supply will be provided to provided to help prevent opioid overdose deaths.

You will have a chance to ask any questions about mental illness and substance use. Printed information and resources will be made available. Great opportunity during the Minority Mental Health Month in July to attend this symposium. You will learn the facts and overcome myths associated with mental health. You will improve your knowledge of mental health and available treatments. Knowledge helps to decrease stigma associated with mental illness.

The SAMHIN team of mental health providers will provide free mental health screenings for stress, anxiety, depression, alcohol and drug use, ADHD, and smoking/tobacco use. The clinicians will be available to answer your questions, address concerns and provide guidance and referrals. Free educational handouts will also be available. Naloxone nasal spray will be available free. Medical teams will provide EKG, blood tests, physical therapy advice, eye exams, etc.
