I am a licensed associate counselor in the state of New Jersey with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds, especially South Asian cultures, and the unique challenges that can bring. I have experience working with pre-teens and teens, young adults, and adults on issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, phase of life transitions, identity and cultural issues, trauma, body image, relationships and communication, as well as grief and loss. I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment through empathy and understanding in the therapy space to help you explore the challenges life brings while working towards meaningful goals. My goal for clients is to provide them with the necessary tools to cope with life stressors and build resiliency through focusing on their individual strengths to create a sense of self-empowerment.
