Therapy is one of the ways that you can find comfort in knowing that there is someone out there that wants to help you in your journey towards healing and becoming the person that you want to be. I believe that every person has a unique set of skills, strengths, and perspectives with which they navigate life through although they may not always be aware of it. My role as your therapist would be to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and bring forth these unique gifts that reside inside you to help you become your empowered self.

I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, and career exploration. I utilize a person-centered and an eclectic therapeutic approach while incorporating psychoeducation, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, strengths-based, and acceptance and commitment therapy techniques.

My experiences with getting my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Houston and working at the Petoskey Center and the Menninger Clinic have led me down an incredible path that has taught me so much about myself and therapy. My clinical interests include meeting each unique individual with cultural humility, empathy, and patience to help them reach their goals and live a more fulfilling life.
