My goal with all of my clients is to create a safe space where everyone can feel heard and validated. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief, women’s issues, sexual assault, domestic violence and family conflict. I have a strong passion for working with couples and individuals, both individually and with their families.I have extensive training and experience in family therapy. This means that I am able to treat not only the individual, but also the entire family of origin, where appropriate.
My practice originated from wanting to primarily help the South Asian population in helping to destigmatize mental health. I believe with proper guidance and psychoeducation, I can help create a shift in our culture by providing the resources that are needed in Hindi and Gujarati.
