What’s your story? No matter where you are in this journey of life, therapy can be a valuable space to examine the complexities that shape your narrative. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive, empathetic environment where you feel safe to navigate your vulnerabilities and personal growth.
I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based and culturally responsive therapy. In our sessions, you can expect a balance of gentle challenges, curiosity, humor, and unconditional support to create a collaborative and non-judgmental environment. I believe in empowering you to find fulfillment and agency in your life as we explore your greatest hopes and challenges, whether that be life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief or interpersonal dynamics.
As an immigrant and South Asian woman, I am deeply committed to increasing access to and destigmatizing mental health services, particularly for BIPOC individuals and those with marginalized identities. I specialize in working with clients who grapple with feelings of otherness, the intersection of their identities, and systemic challenges, with a focus on Muslim and South Asian mental health.
Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time or returning, your story is important. If any of this resonates with you, please reach out! I hope to collaborate with you in discovering, exploring, or nurturing your story.
