Taking the brave step of going to therapy can be extremely difficult. But it can also be very rewarding. I am committed to helping my clients find peace and acceptance through understanding themselves and exploring their life experiences. Together we will navigate challenges one faces today in order to move towards a better present and future. Creating an environment of acceptance so clients feel safe to be vulnerable is very important to me. I take an authentic and empathetic approach to meet my clients where they are and work with them to reach their mental health goals through honest reflection and productive conversation.
I am a licensed social worker working with individuals of all ages with challenges of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, life changes/transitions, relationship difficulties, work/life balance, and more. I particularly enlist CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, with a systems, ecological, culturally competent, and a strengths-based approach.
As a child of immigrant parents and a first-generation South Asian-American female, I recognize the impact of stigma towards mental health in many communities and find it important to account for those additional hardships during our work together. I welcome you on this journey and invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation today.
