Experience/Background.
I am a dual licensed therapist with an LCSW and LCADC. I graduated from the Rutgers University MSW program in 2017. I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2013 starting off at a long term adult mental health residential living facility to next working with drug-court clients, to working at a detox and primary substance abuse outpatient center and now currently in private practice. I have had years of experience facilitating group therapy and individual therapy. I specialize in adults aged 18+. I primarily treat substance abuse as well as anxiety, clinical and situational depression, self-esteem issues, life stressors, trauma and anger issues.

My approach is very individualized and flexible. My style includes a mix of behavioral, psychodynamic and person-centered practices including: Solution-focused, CBT, DBT related skills, and Mindfulness practice and treatment. I find that working as a “we” team is beneficial for the therapeutic relationship. In our individual sessions, we will work on anything from coping skill building, self exploration to a deeper understanding of your emotions and behavior to relapse prevention and more. An assessment will help determine what is best needed in your situation.
