My name is Andie and I am a therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ-related issues. I am here to help you navigate your unique journey towards emotional well-being and self-acceptance.
My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and somatic therapy. These approaches are not just clinical techniques to me; they are tools that can help you regain control of your life and find peace within yourself.
As a young queer Filipino, I believe that each aspect of an individual’s identity and their unique intersections shape how they feel and experience the world. I aim to help clients reconnect with and understand themselves in the multitude of contexts in which they live their lives.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health & Wellness with a Certificate in LGBTQ Health, Education and Social Services at New York University. I have more than 1000 direct clinical hours working with individuals, families and couples.
