I am a licensed clinical psychologist in NJ and NY. I have over 10 years of clinical experience at numerous settings including hospitals, clinics, college counseling centers and in private practice. I am the founder and owner of Meraki Psychology Center (MPC), a private practice in Central NJ. I specialize in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and in providing cognitive behavioral therapies for adolescents and adults struggling with trauma and abuse, anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, relationship issues, eating disorders, cultural and identity issues and difficulties related to life transitions. I also provide counseling to college students at Rutgers University’s counseling center in NJ and my research focuses on expanding our understanding of factors that are important to South Asians related to food habits, body image and eating disorders.
