Dr. Nisha Mehta-Naik is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. She is a graduate of Northwestern University for both undergraduate college and medical school. She completed residency training in Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine, where she served as a Chief Resident in her final year. Following residency, Dr. Mehta-Naik completed fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine. After fellowship, Dr. Mehta-Naik joined the full time faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine from 2018-2021.
Dr. Mehta-Naik is now in full time private practice in Manhattan. She is on voluntary faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine, where she continues to teach and supervise psychiatry residents. She is currently an advanced candidate in Adult Psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
