Hi, I’m Aneeta, a licensed psychologist based in New York. I received my doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including college counseling, community mental health, inpatient care, and private practice, supporting adults and young adults through life’s challenges.
I tailor my care to your needs, moving at your pace in a safe, non-judgmental space. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. Our work centers on relationships, including ours, because I believe feeling connected is key to healing and growth. Together, we’ll explore the different parts of yourself, your strengths, identity, and values to help you feel more connected and whole.
I especially enjoy working with people who are exploring their identity, navigating relationship and family dynamics, healing from past experiences, or adjusting to big life transitions. Whether you’re trying to understand yourself better, heal from past wounds, or create more fulfilling relationships, I’m here to support you.
As a South Asian immigrant, I know how important it is to feel like your background and identity are understood and respected. I bring this lens into our work, honoring the complexities of navigating multiple cultures, expectations, and the desire to live a life that feels true to you.
I’m licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
