DESCRIPTION:SAMHIN will partner with East Brunswick Public Library and will have a presence at the annual Holi celebration event at the East Brunswick Public Library\, East Brunswick\, New Jersey. Arti Katoch of East Brunswick Public Library is planning and coordinating this event. Our dedicated team of volunteers will be on-site to promote mental health and wellness\, increase mental health awareness and decrease stigma\, as well as to offer mental health screenings. We invite you to come and enjoy the Holi event and visit us with any questions regarding mental health and substance use. Free educational materials will be available for distribution!

DESCRIPTION:South Asian Mental Health Iniative and Network (SAMHN) will bring mental health awareness and provide mental health screenings at the Medical Camp at Guruji Edison Mandir.In addition there will be many other physicians from different specialities at hand to provide their services. \nThis event is for the Edison Guruji Mandir Sangat Parivar. \nSAMHIN team of mental health providers will provide free screenings for psychological and emotional problems and addiction. We will answer your questions about mental illness and provide any advice and referrals when needed. We will respect your privacy during the mental health screenings. Free educational handouts will be available. \nJoin us if . . . \nIf you smoke or chew tobacco and want to learn about how this is harmful and advice on quitting. Free testing will be provided. \nYou would like to speak confidentially to the SAMHIN team of mental health providers. \nYou have any questions about a loved one’s struggles with stress\, depression\, tension\, or alcohol or drug use. \nIf you have any questions or need advice about mental illness and addiction. \nIf you would like free mental health screening. \nIf you have any questions about diagnosis and treatment. \nIf you have questions about where to go for treatment. \n \nIn addition to mental screenings there will be other specialties available including Primary care\, cardiology\, endocrinology\, pulmonary and sleep medicine etc. See flyer above for all the details.
